Upload videos

You can upload a video from the upload page on the front page. Simply browse to your video and choose it on your computer. Press the upload button and wait for the video to be uploaded. As long as the progress bar is moving, your upload is going fine. Do not leave the page while uploading.

You can upload many different types of videos.

Convert to web format

In order to be able to show your video directly on the website, without people having to download it first, the video is converted to the popular FLV format. Anyone who has Flash installed will be able to play the video.

 

When converting videos to flv, Gyxi's Video to Flv Converter is used.

 

In rare cases, your video cannot be converted, and it will not play directly on the website. Don't worry, people will still be able to download the file you uploaded originally.

Upload with Windows application

If you need to upload a lot of videos, it may not be convenient for you to have to select each video, wait for it to be uploaded, and then select the next one. In that case, we have developed a neat Windows application for uploading videos, which supports bulk upload of videos.

 

This tool is only available by request, so contact us  and tell us why you need it, and we will send it to you.

After you upload

After you upload, you are shown a short message, telling you that the video may not be playable right away. This is because it has to be converted for web first. Click the link and you are taken to the location where the video is published. You can bookmark your image or pick up the web address to your image.

 

You can also choose to embed the video on your own site or somewhere else.

 

When the video is shown, a small ad will sometimes be shown for a few second near the top of the video. This is the reason why this service can be kept completely free.
