Upload image galleries

You can upload many related images as an image gallery. All the images will be published on the same page with thumbnails of the images. You can also choose to upload a single image.

Upload from website

You can upload an image gallery from the upload form on the front page. Before you begin, zip the images that you want to upload as an image gallery. Now, from the upload form, click the link named "Zipped images" to select it. Browse to your zip file and click the upload button.

Upload with Windows application

If you want it to be easier to upload images, you can upload using the upload tool which is a neat Windows application. This has the advantage of supporting drag'n'drop from your desktop and uploading more than one file with a single click.

 

This is generally recommended for image galleries and if you have a slow connection. Using the Windows application can be up to 20 times faster, because images are resized before upload instead of after.

After you upload

After you upload, you are taken to the location where the image gallery is published. You can bookmark that page or pick up the web address. You can also choose to embed the image as a thumbnail on your own site or somewhere else.

 

When the thumbnail is clicked, a larger image is shown. When that image is clicked, the original full size image, that you uploaded, will be shown.
