Embed videos

You can embed a video directly on your own website. That's right, you don't have to link to the video, you can simply insert the video right there on your site and let people play it.

Where is the embed code?

After you upload a video, you are taken to the page where it can be viewed and downloaded. This is also where you find the embed codes. The embed code is below the video to the right.

Embed on your website

The embed code in the text field is the default one. Click it and copy-paste the html embed code into your website. It works in most cases, but not everywhere. If it doesn't work, select "More options for embedding", which will open a window where you can get alternative embed codes that may work in a blog or in a community site (such as myspace).

Ads in videos

It is free to upload a video, publish it, share it with your friends and embed it on your own website or anywhere else. How is that possible? Because there is a small ad in the top of the videos playing. You may not even have noticed it, but it's there, and it is the reason why all of this is free.
